Gratitude + Change + Updates (& a gift!)

by Melodee Forbes on November 12, 2012

Good Morning!

I hope you are doing well today. I know it's been awhile and I sincerely apologize for the recent distance.

A lot of changes have occurred in my life and as some of you know, life + business + anything else all goes together. One isn't separate from the other.

First, I would like to express my sincere thanks for the journey that we've had together. Many of you have engaged and connected with me. I've read your emails, comments, and heard your heart. You want your daughter to have the best. You want her to know that she is outrageously and ridiculously loved. You don't want her to settle in relationships, career, decisions, etc. I am so thankful for the community of parents that are committed and focused on being their best.

Second, I want to thank those of you who have purchased my bestselling book, "My Dad Is The Reason I'm Not A Slut" – your overwhelming support and spreading the word has been so impactful! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Third, I'm saying goodbye (at least for now). Whaaaat?! Yes, I know… that's part of the reason why I haven't wrote in a bit, because I hate saying goodbye (blame it on my Mom's death, I don't know?) I just really don't like parting ways. I could give you a plethora of reasons as to why but here is the main and most important one.

My heart has changed. My view of God has changed. My life has changed. My parenting perspective has changed. (Can I say the word – 'changed' one more time? :) )

I'm about to be so honest, right now.
